mobile email for bergen

Bergen finally gave us email addresses. They are really pushing it; it's all over the school, they have sent you countless emails and your teachers (should) have talked about it. If you don't know how to claim it by now, click here.

So, I assume you've set your shit up at this point. I also assume you've tried to set up push notifications, and have failed. Well, I figured it out. It's not difficult, Bergen just hasn't posted the proper instructions.

These instructions are for the iPhone, but I can't imagine it being much different for Android, or any other device that supports Microsoft Exchange.

1) Get your domain. Go to outlook.com and login. Look at your address bar- mine says "https://pod51008.outlook.com/owa/". So, my domain is:"pod51008.outlook.com".
2) Add an account in your phone. Go to [Settings] [Mail, Contacts, Calendars] [Add Account] [Microsoft Exchange].
3) Insert your credentials.
E-mail: The email you use to log in (yourstupidname@me.bergen.edu)
Domain: Put in the domain you just found in step 1.
Username: It's the same as your e-mail.
Password: Your password.
Description: Whatever you want.
4) Thank me. Your not welcome.

It works great for me. If you have any problems you can comment below. Honestly, I'm probably not going to answer your questions. I don't ever use this site, and I doubt there will ever be enough traffic for anyone else to answer it either.
